Role Title: Advisor / Non-Executive Advisor
Role Type: Advisory / Non-Executive (Not an employee role)
Reporting To: Founder / Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors, where applicable
Location: Remote-first, with occasional meetings as required.
Time Commitment: Expected commitment of approximately 1 to 3 hours per month, depending on the advisor’s role, expertise and agreed contribution. Additional support may be requested around fundraising, product validation, customer development, investor engagement or strategic milestones.

Ductio is building an Executive Intelligence Platform designed to improve how organisations assess, compare and understand executive leadership capability.
The platform brings together public data, company performance signals, leadership history, market context and AI-enabled analysis to help executive search firms, investors, boards and leadership teams make better informed decisions about senior talent.
Ductio is focused on turning fragmented executive and company data into trusted, structured intelligence that can support leadership evaluation, succession planning, executive search and investment decision-making.
Role Purpose
The Advisor / Non-Executive Advisor will support Ductio during its early growth phase by providing senior guidance, market insight, credibility and practical challenge.
The role is intended for experienced operators, executives, investors, founders, technologists, data leaders, product leaders, commercial leaders or sector specialists who can help shape Ductio’s proposition, product, governance, market positioning and growth strategy.
The Advisor will act as a trusted sounding board to the Founder and leadership team, helping Ductio make better decisions, avoid early-stage mistakes and build a credible, investable and scalable business.
Core Responsibilities
The Advisor may support Ductio across one or more of the following areas:
Strategic Guidance - Provide senior-level advice on Ductio’s business model, market positioning, product strategy, operating model and long-term growth direction.
Product and Proposition Development - Challenge and improve the Ductio proposition, including the platform use cases, customer journeys, intelligence outputs, scoring methodology, user experience and value story.
Market and Customer Insight - Provide insight into the needs of executive search firms, private equity investors, boards, leadership teams, HR leaders, talent functions, data leaders or other target customers.
Commercial Development - Support Ductio in refining its pricing, packaging, go-to-market approach, sales narrative, partner model and early customer engagement.
Fundraising Support - Provide feedback on investor materials, fundraising positioning, valuation logic, market narrative and investor readiness.
Strategic Introductions - Where appropriate, make relevant introductions to investors, customers, partners, advisors, executives or industry specialists who may support Ductio’s development.
Governance and Risk Challenge - Provide constructive challenge on governance, data ethics, AI assurance, confidentiality, reputational risk, regulatory considerations and responsible use of executive intelligence.
Credibility and External Positioning - Support Ductio’s market credibility through agreed advisor affiliation, website profile, investor deck inclusion, customer conversations or strategic references, where mutually agreed.
Ideal Advisor Profile
Ductio is looking for advisors who bring one or more of the following:
- Experience as a senior executive, founder, investor, board advisor, non-executive director or functional leader.
- Deep expertise in executive search, private equity, leadership assessment, talent intelligence, data, AI, SaaS, product strategy, governance, commercial growth or enterprise technology.
- A strong understanding of how senior leadership decisions are made in complex organisations.
- The ability to challenge constructively and provide practical, commercially grounded advice.
- A trusted network that may support Ductio’s growth, funding, product validation or market entry.
- A willingness to support an early-stage company with focus, clarity and realism.
- High standards of confidentiality, integrity and professional conduct.
Advisor Lanes
Ductio may appoint advisors across several specialist lanes, including:
- Executive Search and Leadership Assessment
- Private Equity and Investor Talent
- Product Strategy and User Experience
- Go-to-Market and Commercial Growth
- Legal, Risk, Privacy and Assurance
- Board, NED and Governance Advisory
- Fundraising and Investor Readiness
Each Advisor will have a clearly agreed area of contribution.
Expected Contribution
The Advisor is expected to provide meaningful, practical and relevant support. This may include:
- Attending advisory calls or workshops.
- Reviewing product, investor or commercial materials.
- Providing feedback on strategic decisions.
- Making selected introductions where appropriate.
- Supporting Ductio’s credibility in the market.
- Helping the Founder think through risks, opportunities and trade-offs.
- Providing challenge on what will and will not work commercially.
The role is not intended to be passive. Advisors should add clear value through insight, credibility, access or specialist expertise.
What the Role Is Not Responsible For
Unless separately agreed in writing, the Advisor is not responsible for:
- Day-to-day management of Ductio.
- Acting as an employee, director or officer of the company.
- Making commitments on behalf of Ductio.
- Signing contracts or binding the company.
- Managing staff, suppliers or customers.
- Delivering operational workstreams.
- Raising funds as a regulated broker or intermediary.
- Providing legal, tax, investment or regulated financial advice.
